Visitors today and Valentine's Day!

Today we had visitors from the middle school! Some of the seventh graders came to teach us about the history of different places in Saugatuck and Douglas! This was a great introduction to our history of Saugatuck and Douglas unit and to the research project our second graders will complete after spring break!




Our Valentine's Day party is on Friday, February 12th from 12:30-1:30. We will be having a low key party because they need to go to P.E. afterwards and I don't want to get them too excited. We will be passing out Valentines and having some yummy treats. We will also decorate our Valentine's bags at school. If your child chooses to pass out Valentines, please include one for each person in the class.  I will send home a class list next week.
