Saugatuck-Douglas Project 2017

It is time for the 2nd Grade Saugatuck-Douglas Project!  Yesterday your child learned all about the requirements and details of this project.  Project information was sent home yesterday as homework.  If you lose the directions or need more information visit:  projectsaugatuck.weebly.com
This project has 2 at-home requirements.  The rest will be completed at school.
1.  Choose a location.  Once you have decided, have your child tell me the place you chose.  (Due Monday, April 17)
2. Research and learn all about the chosen location.  The at-home job is to gather enough information and knowledge to answer the required questions. Your child will organize the information and create the project at school.  Research can be done by visiting the location, talking with family/community members, on the internet, or any other appropriate way to find the information.  Take pictures, find maps, learn all you can! Information can be printed and brought to school or emailed to me at tjackson@saugatuckps.com.  I will make it available for your child to use in his/her project.  (Due Monday, May 1)
After you have reviewed the information, please contact me with any questions or concerns.
