Wonderful Year!

Thank you for the wonderful year! Yesterday was awesome! Report cards are in your child's backpack.

Below you will find a link to our final Saugatuck Projects.  The students are very proud of their work.  As you watch, please remember our goals include speaking, listening, reading, writing, social studies, technology, and problem-solving.

We are focused more on the process and learning than the final product.  These are 2nd-grade projects.  As adults, we instantly notice mistakes and see ways to make it better.  Instead of judging the work, try discussing the project with your child.  Some questions you might ask:
What was the best part of this project?
What was difficult about this project?
What did you learn about Saugatuck and Douglas from your work and other projects?
If you were able to do this project again, what would you do differently?

Have a great summer!
